Our History
|
Air Freight Plus, Inc. dba AFPlus Global Logistics was established at BWI Airport, Maryland in May 1991 by Keith Barbour, President of the company. That first year, AFPlus employed only two people. By 2007, the staff has grown to 15 employees. Also, tonnage handled by AFPlus has increased from approximately 75 thousand lbs. in 1991 to over 11.5 million lbs. in 2007 (including both domestic and international shipments).
We firmly believe that our customers, as well as their customers, are the most important people to us: without them we could not exist. Our customers deserve and get the finest service and most personalized attention in the freight forwarding industry. With critical time frames involved, there is no room for error. That is why AFPlus plays an important role as partners with our customers to keep their operation running smoothly. AFPlus relies heavily on the commitment of its employees to exceed our customers’ expectations.
